1nhaler is an invention that will deliver a global impact: making life saving drugs more available to more people around the world.
The 1nhaler (TM, Patents Pending) is a simple, breath-activated, single dose, disposable dry powder inhaler that is the size of a business card.
Our highly inventive, patent pending mechanism for drug delivery allows the 1nhaler to transform from its basic 2D flat shape into a 3D inhaler that can deliver a broad variety of inhalable drugs.
The device is completely flat in storage, and as a result is uniquely portable and distributable. The 1nhaler will be fully recyclable at launch. As a dry powder inhaler, it will help replace traditional inhalers that have been estimated to account for almost 4% of the greenhouse gas emissions.
There is also potential for the 1nhaler drug delivery platform to deliver vaccines to prevent COVID-19 or future flu viruses, along with treatments such as anti-viral drugs directly to the lungs. We are currently exploring these possibilities as part of our development pathway.
