We are a small company that has been privately funded. We are currently able to fund operations and growth for 3 years without any changes to our sales volumes. Needless to say, we see a lot of growth on the short and medium term horizon. Smart Image Technology We create systems that manage 3D medical imaging, primarily for cancer care but there are other applications in the pipeline. We develop three things: 1. software solutions that manage image capture and then create 3D models of the captured images. 2. databases and systems that manage the capture and utilisation of the images 3. hardware scanning solutions to capture the images. this is the easy part as much of the hardware is virtually off-the-shelf. We have run deliberately under the radar while developing and have started our expansion by focusing on some selected systems integrators before producing a "retail solution". This is mainly due to the cost of tooling and development of the hardware systems. Long term our customers are medium to large scale medical operations that have a need for high level accuracy 3D models of patients where information like volume and change in volume can be easily detected.
