ABP's ScriptSafe is a revolutionary new product that is intended to displace the child resistant capped Rx vial (50+ year old technology) each and every time an Rx opioid, risk labelled or antibiotic medication is dispensed to a patient by a pharmacist. In its first iteration, by automating Rx medication disposal at prescription expiration, ScriptSafe turns the existing "opt-in" paradigm for proper Rx medication disposal to an "opt-out" one. Opt-out solutions are far more effective at achieving desired results, particularly where behavior changes are desired, than opt-in programs.
