Acantha Medical was founded in 2017 at Yale University to prevent complications associated with vascular access procedures. The Ballistra Guidewire Introducer, Acantha Medical's first product, aims to reduce the complication rate of Central Line and Peripherally Inserted Line placement while making these procedures easier to carry out for physicians and nurses. We are committed to eradicating all deaths and mechanical complications associated with vascular access procedures and are diligently working to make this dream a reality.
