My grandfather battled Parkinson’s disease for 10+ years. While visiting him over Christmas I noticed that it took him close to an hour to get himself dressed, even with the help of my grandmother. I wanted to find a solution to his problems that would allow him to keep the clothing he already owned, and more importantly, keep his independence.
So, I invented magnetic strips that can be sewn into people’s existing clothing in place of things like buttons and zippers. Our patent-pending magnetic strips were tested thoroughly before being brought to market. Currently we sell two products, an adaptable pants kit, and adaptable shirt kit. Each comes with a step by step instruction sheet on how to sew them in, so you can either sew yourself, or take to a seamstress/dry-cleaners. Because we aren’t making a whole clothing line, we allow people to adapt the clothes they love for an affordable price. We believe you should still be able to wear your favorite pair of jeans or that favorite button-down regardless of what life throws at you.
