Analysis, Inc.'s first product is the Change Detector for Brain Imaging, a machine-learning based system that compares serial MR imaging studies and presents changes in the form of a color overlay superimposed on the anatomical images. The Change Detector saves radiologists time at the beginning of their reading — perhaps up to 10 minutes for diseases such multiple sclerosis. The Change Detector highlights the locations of changes and degree of those changes, so the radiologist can more quickly reach clinical judgments. Using the Change Detector, it may be possible for radiologists to detect changes months earlier than is possible with manual inspection alone, with greater reproducibility.
