Allergoscope

Allergoscope is a diagnostic tool for quantitative analysis of the results of a conjunctival provocation test in allergology. About 30-40% of the world population is affected by one or more allergies. Only 35% of allergy patients are treated by a doctor. If an allergy is not treated, the inflammatory processes in the body can become chronic and spread to other organs. Precise diagnostics are difficult and time-consuming. Conventional methods have a large number of disadvantages including risks. Previous attemps to develop a comparable fully automated conjunctival provocation test have failed and developed systems still require considerable additional manual processing. Our solution: The completely automated diagnostic tool is based on the latest developments in the field of artificial intelligence and deep neural networks. Just-in-time comparative analyses of sclera images are used to quantitatively track the changes. This enables a time-saving diagnosis with a maximum reduction of side-effects for the patient.
