About
AntibacHip aims to design an innovative titanium-based alloy with enhanced mechanical and antibacterial properties. Thermodynamic modelling, microstructural simulation, processing by 3D-printing DMLM technology and gravity casting, and advanced characterization techniques will be used to develop laboratory prototypes of hip prosthesis components, acetabular cup, and stem.
