ARC – Athletic Recovery Complete delivers a medical device to assist individuals in recovering from soft tissue trauma associated with injury, overuse, and surgical procedure. Through the use of temperature regulated fluid pumped from the main unit through hosing to associated garments, individuals can select therapies based on temperature, duration, and compression. Users can have preset therapy protocols easily modified as the touch of a screen, adjusting variable levels of temperature, compression, and therapy duration. Without the addition of any ice or water or outside materials, ARC’s closed system will begin the selected therapy. At the conclusion of the therapy, the garment will drain and the fluid will return to the unit. There is no waste, and the garment can then be sanitized for reuse.
This method of delivery for the proven therapy methods of cooling, heating, and compression will completely replace traditional ice bags and heating pads, and similar predicate products.
As we progress, ARC will be implemented as a smart device, helping collect and provide proprietary data to insurance companies in regard to patient compliancy, as well as the clinic implications of the data to improve therapy efficacy.
