About

The Australian Lung Health Initiative (ALHI) is a consortium that is jointly owned and controlled by six Australian project partners with the purpose of integrating the revolutionary XV Technology™ into the development of the world's first zero-dose dedicated lung scanner. ALHI's goal is to deliver groundbreaking lung healthcare advancements that are safe, rapid, easy to use and to provide detailed functional analysis for patients of any age. This will fill the critical unmet need for accurate and sensitive lung health assessment tools for young children. The project brings together world-leading Australian scientists, physicists, engineers, medical researchers, respiratory physiologists, data scientists and manufacturers whose vision is to deliver first-of-its-kind lung screening that will propel Australia to the forefront of lung science, and create a new, local hi-tech industry.
