Founded in 2003 by Paul Linton, the Australian Orthotic Group (AOG) began as the Australian distributor of custom foot orthotic and related scanning systems of The Orthotic Group (TOG). The focus of our business has been to produce and supply quality custom foot orthotics to podiatrists, chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other practitioners in the Australian market. The primary means has been through TOG’s revolutionary GaitScan technology, a 2D pressure plate that allows in depth quantitative, subjective analysis of a patient’s gait pattern.
Since the recent acquisition of AOG by Orthotic Holdings, Inc. (OHI), AOG has been able to offer an even more expansive and complete product range for lower extremity health care. These newer additions to our product line include custom ankle foot orthoses made by Arizona AFO, state of the art 3D laser scanners from Langer Biomechanics, and a stylish line of medical grade footwear by Apex. We are proud to be a part of the OHI family of brands as we are now able to better position our customers by offering their patients a complete lower extremity solution.
