beMedTech is the Belgian federation representing the medical technology industry, with over 200 affiliated companies that make up about 80% of the Belgian medtech market. Its members include manufacturers and distributors across six main product segments: in-vitro diagnostics, medical consumables, implants and invasive devices, medical equipment and systems, digital medtech, and services for home assistance. The federation's mission is to unite these companies to showcase their positive impact on healthcare through innovation and education. beMedTech aims to improve patient care quality and promote sustainability in the healthcare system. It advocates for greater accessibility to innovative medical technology and supports a shift towards preventative and early intervention healthcare approaches. Collectively, its members represent over 500,000 medical technologies, generating an annual turnover of approximately €3.4 billion and employing around 16,750 people in Belgium.
