Bilateral Inc. was founded by Jacob Strupp and Luke Naismith with the goal of providing neurological resources to improve the lives of everyday people. It is a Philadelphia-based company specializing in neurotechnology (brain technology), as well as medical and wellness devices. It focuses on developing the next generation of neurotechnology for consumer, medical and defense markets. Its products provide a customized way to maximize an individual’s unique neurocognitive strengths and minimize their weaknesses, as well as providing an avenue for performance enhancement in athletics and academics.
Management Team
Jacob Strupp is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Bilateral Inc. Jacob received his masters degree in Systems Neuroscience, with a research focused on computational neuroscience and neuroengineering. While at Temple University, Jacob specialized in configuring micro-biomedical devices for rodent EEG and designed software for machine learning-based Alzheimer’s diagnosis in genetically-engineered mice. He is also a research neuroengineer at the NeuroCognitive Institute in New Jersey, where he has created optimization software that produces personalized neuromodulation treatment plans using finite element modeling.
Luke Naismith is Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Bilateral Inc. Luke received his bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Temple University. In 2017, he and Jacob Strupp founded Bilateral, Inc., where they have been developing patented neurotechnology for distraction forecasting, emotional recognition, and cognitive enhancement. Luke has extensive experience in digital signal processing, and complex analysis.

Elbert Torres is the Director of Business Development for Bilateral Inc. Elbert graduated with a degree of Bachelor Science in Physical Therapy. He has earned more than twenty years of experience in the field of sales, marketing, training, salesforce excellence and customer-service management.
