Biovotion was a Swiss company founded in 2011, based in Zürich, that specialized in clinical-grade wearable biosensor technology. The company developed the Everion biosensor, an electronic armband that monitors 22 physiological parameters in real time, including blood oxygenation, skin temperature, and heart rate. Biovotion held over 60 global patents related to wearable and sensor technology, primarily designed for the arm or hand. In 2019, Biovotion was acquired by Biofourmis, a digital therapeutics firm. This acquisition allowed Biofourmis to integrate Biovotion's technology into its Biovitals® ecosystem, enhancing digital therapeutics solutions with AI-driven predictive analytics. The combination of Biovotion's hardware and Biofourmis' software supports real-time monitoring and personalized patient care across various healthcare segments, including heart failure and oncology.
