Medtech: bioZhena’s electronic cervical sensor for women’s reproductive self-help, while monitoring menstrual cycle vital sign data for OBGYN, PRIMARY CARE and RE healthcare providers’ use when needed.
BIOZHENA’S MISSION: https://biozhena.wordpress.com/biozhenas-mission-a-health-tool-for-every-woman/
Technology for non-interventional management of women’s reproductive health.
The market will be disrupted by the first application indicating in plain English the fertile window as FERTILE DAY 1, 2, & 3 = OVULATION. Another indication will read: PREGNANT! Yet another: SEE DOCTOR ABOUT CERVIX.
To help any woman to either conceive or to avoid pregnancy naturally, without the need for chemicals, hormones, or surgery. And at the same time conveniently monitoring her cervical health – at home.
FDA 510k clearance on file for fertility monitoring to aid conception and to provide menstrual cycle data to physicians, useful for patient profiling and as a vital sign (ACOG 2009, NIH DHSS 2014) to manage menstrual problems from teen years to peri-menopause. Clears the consumers’ Ovulona™ and the Ovulograph™ concept for physicians.
The Ovulona™, our first product, will evolve into a telemetric cervical ring, the Halo™, for automatic effortless monitoring without daily insertion.
Used in pregnancy, the Ovulona and/or the Halo will improve management of birthing and prematurity.
None of the current ovulation predicting products are practical for natural pregnancy avoidance because they cannot delineate the true fertile window and they cannot work with the frequent menstrual irregularities (caused by asynchrony of brain & ovarian pacemakers) -they lack precision and only guesstimate ovulation.
