Burton Dental Innovations, LLC is a provider of sectional matrix systems under the BurtonBands brand name. The BurtonBands Anterior and Posterior matrix systems are designed to product better-contoured composite restorations while improving dentist efficiency. Both systems were created by Dr. Matthew Burton at his dental practice in Illinois. After years of frustration with existing sectional matrices, Dr. Burton began designing his own. The Posterior Matrix System is the first dual-wedge system of its kind, which creates optimal proximal contact on Class II restorations without the use of a ring. The Anterior Matrix System is a unique matrix/wedge combination that simplifies Class III and IV composite placement while producing superior restorations.
