Cardiac Revival Machines is developing a simple Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator (ICD) that can be implanted in patients at risk of Sudden Cardiac Death (SCD) without the need for significant programming and customization. The product will be similar in size and shape to current devices, and uses standard ICD lead design, allowing physicians to use our leads or any lead from any manufacturer that they prefer. CRM-1 will be the first rechargeable ICD on the market. Its features will include: + Guaranteed 25 year life + A full 12 months of operation on a single charge + Recharged in office by a physician or physician assistant + Unlimited therapy to patients that need it + Unlimited energy and memory to physicians for data collection and diagnosis + Redundancy in electronics that increases the safety and reliability of CRM-1 to a new level CRM has a pay-as-you-go business model that allows the payers to pay for the device annually based on a subscription model. CRM is currently in fund raising for its seed round.
