Carepath Technologies GmbH is a Berlin-based venture developing a telemedicine platform that monitors patients in their home and in residential environments, aiding physicians with diagnoses and treatment.
Our product is a hardware-software platform consists of IoT/EDGE for sampling and identifying points of data; each connected to our cloud using LTE. Data is further processed by our AI running in our cloud.
“Symptom Diagnosis Modules” or SDMs are the core of our system. An SDM is a combination of hardware and software, both on-premise and cloud-based, each designed to monitor and measure specific symptoms in a patient. SDMs are medically certified digital health applications.
We developed our first-generation SDMs for respiratory illnesses, specifically on cough detection. Completion of this SDM afforded us chance to build the hardware and establish cloud infrastructure capable of supporting multiple SDMs.
Carepath launched in 2020 in Germany. As the system matures—and we add additional SDMs to our platform—we plan to expand throughout the EU and markets beyond.
