Shower-with-Cast products help you stay dry when you need to shower while having cast on your body.
Shower-with-Cast is a reusable, waterproof plastic covering that keeps casts, bandages, and dressings dry during bathing and showering. Patients with fractures, wounds, and IV sites are frequently unable to bathe easily due to concerns about water damage to casts, bandages and dressings.
When was the last time you were considering a purchase and saw the “Made in the USA” label? If you are like us, it seems to happen less often each year. Ironically, customers in other countries still place a high value on the “Made in the USA” tag.  But in America it seems many have given up on this goal. You can feel good that Shower-with-Cast is 100% made in the USA using commercial and medical grade waterproof components.
Our thick, commercial grade, blue, water proof plastic will keep your cast dry. Heat-sealed within it is a wide industrial grade latex band to hold your protector in place. This is the first of two seals, which when used together provide maximum cast and bandage protection. The second is the medical grade outer latex strap. This strap is wrapped around the top of the water proof bag and buttoned like a belt. When applied 50% on the blue bag and 50% on the users skin it provides an effective seal to keep shower moisture out and away from the cast or injured area. This outer latex strap does not need to be extremely stretched tight to keep casts or bandages dry. It simply needs to fit smoothly around the user’s limb.
