Click Care LLC of Michigan is a medical device company that is developing a smart toothbrush to reduce the $60B in annual, avoidable dental expenses that result from poor brushing habits. Click Care's smart toothbrush combines the technology from a sonic toothbrush with inertial navigation technology. Click Care uses a proprietary algorithm to accurately estimate the position of the toothbrush as a person brushes, then sends this information to a smartphone through the Bluetooth LE interface. A mobile app is used to display that data through games and/or a dashboard that displays the tracking data in a way that is meaningful and useful to the brusher or their support system. (e.g.: Family, friends, and healthcare professional).
