ROC Band allows for a clear view of puncture site and space for Ulnar compression. It is important to confirm radial flow with hemostasis using the Barbeaus test. This is described as patent hemostasis. Strong data shows that performing patent hemostasis avoids permanent RAO (Radial Artery Occlusion) ie >1%.
