We soon found that diabetes is very demanding and requires a lot of knowledge and skill to effectively manage blood glucose levels. After our first year we knew we needed some help and started researching for new ways to enhance the quality of life for our son. What we found is that Africa is not equipped for diabetics and many people are struggling due to lack of sufficient supplies, support, and knowledge.
