Epidemic diseases such as diabetes and heart related diseases has tremendous costs on society as well as human suffering when not treated or managed properly. Only in Sweden almost 1.8 millions are suffering from high blood pressure (hypertoni) and soon half a million suffers from diabetes. Scaled globally, for the same demographic life style, 100 of millions of people around the globe suffers from the these diseases. Managing and preventive care of epidemic diseases today by the primary care is labour intensive and more self-management is requested.
