Dispositivos Médicos PUCP is a collaborative initiative in Peru, formed by the Instituto Tecnológico de la Producción and CITE Materiales PUCP. With a funding of S/ 5.8 million, the organization aims to enhance the development and manufacturing of high-quality medical devices in the country. It is recognized as the leading manufacturer of biomedical equipment in Peru, having delivered over 300 mechanical ventilators to the Ministry of Health through the MASI project. The company offers a wide range of services, providing over 600 technical assistance, laboratory testing, and quality assurance services to health institutions and medical technology companies. It also provides certified advisory services to the private sector, helping companies implement quality management systems that comply with ISO 13485 standards. Additionally, Dispositivos Médicos PUCP engages in research and development, contributing to scientific publications and advancing innovation in medical devices.
