In the early 1970's, Lee Deshler founded e3 Tele-Acoustics Florida as the Sunshine State's first on-site service/calibration provider of hearing diagnostic and vestibular instrumentation. Since the early days of manned space flight at Cape Canaveral, Lee had been working with acoustic technologies, and his knowledge allowed him to calibrate audiometers on site instead of shipping back to the factory. It quickly became apparent to Lee that by providing on-site service, the customer experienced less down time, and thereby was able to continue providing essential services to their patients. He partnered with e3 Tele-Acoustics Charlotte and e3 Med-Acoustics to form Trilogy Audiometrics, an audiology equipment distribution and service company serving the Southeastern United States with the most cutting-edge technology from the industry's best manufacturers. Today, e3 Tele-Acoustics Tampa is the leader in audiometric instrumentation sales and service in Western Florida, and is led by John Borries, BSEE.
