Emagix's generative AI aims to reduce vision loss caused by delayed treatment of retinal diseases. Individuals with retinal disease caused by old age or diabetes require intervention once the blood vessels in their retina become leaky. Until now, detection of retinal leakage was only possible through an invasive exam that involves an intravenous injection of a dye. Emagix's generative AI simulates this invasive exam from a standard-of-care non-invasive exam, eliminating the need for dye injection. This solution will allow widespread screening for early signs of retinal leakage and timely intervention to prevent vision loss.
