Swiss implant manufacturer epimedical and the Thai Cosmo Group will in future provide Asian clinics and hospitals with high-quality medical products "made in Switzerland" under the joint company epimedical (Asia) Ltd. This cooperation was sealed on 9 August 2016 with the contract signature ceremony at the Swiss Embassy in Bangkok. Setting up the distribution is just the beginning. The aim of the joint venture is to build up medical competence and expertise in the Kingdom of Thailand by founding the Swiss-Thai Medical Academy, driving forward specialist intercultural exchanges and enable the local manufacturing of high-tech medical solutions for orthopaedic surgeries and traumatology.
