The business model is to apply design, systems and control expertise to develop technology advancements that solve problems and help users become more active and healthy. IP is developed, secured and transferred to established industry players under license agreements.
A Washington State Life Sciences Discovery Fund (LSDF) grant was awarded in 2013 and successfully concluded in 2015 to develop the proof-of-concept Adaptive Compression System for Lower Limb Amputees. Patents have been filed for background fluid compression technology as well as specific application to prosthetics.
