ErgoSuture/Roller-Based Suturing

ErgoSuture is a medical device company that specializes in innovative suturing solutions. It utilizes a unique roller-based technology to enhance the safety, speed, and cost-effectiveness of closing various patient tissue layers. Founded by ErgoSurgical Group, the company has developed advanced surgical instruments that replace traditional flat-tip needle drivers with rollers, improving suturing proficiency in open surgery, minimally invasive surgery, laparoscopic, and robot-assisted surgeries. Headquartered in the Netherlands, with research and development in San Diego and medical affairs in France, ErgoSuture is committed to driving surgical innovation. Its core product platform, Roller Based Suturing (RBS), allows surgeons and trained caregivers to perform suturing tasks more efficiently, particularly in challenging locations. The company aims to commercialize its solutions through strategic partnerships with established medical companies and plans to expand its impact in surgical care by developing specialized companies focused on areas like mitral valve repair.
