Evergreen Latex is a family-owned business based in South Africa that produces and distributes high-quality latex and nitrile gloves and disposables. Established in 1992, we have been providing medical professionals with the best protective products for over 30 years. We pride ourselves on our commitment to sustainability, using biodegradable materials and renewable energy in our production process. As a company, we are dedicated to supporting our local community, contributing 1% of our profits to NPOs that help people in need. We want to partner with like-minded distributors around the world, who want to provide accessibility of quality medical gloves to certain countries. Who wants to create sustainability for our environment, our economy and the people. Our state of the art plant boasts green manufacturing where we reduce the use of natural resources by recycling our water and harnessing the African sun. We believe in using natural rubber latex as it is a product that biodegradable. However, we do understand that people are allergic to natural rubber latex and hence non-latex gloves are available in our product line. Our staff are mainly comprised of female, 92% to be exact, where they have the opportunity to grow within the company and move into a different role. Simultaneously, we donate to the creche's, after school centres, learning centres and old age homes in our community so that the staff can work without worrying about their children or elderly parents being at home alone. Our purpose is to provide quality gloves at affordable prices, especially in the African regions where HIV/AIDs rates are substantially higher than other places in the world.
