FacetMed Ltd.

FacetMed is an early stage medical device company focusing in advanced implants for spine fixation to treat disorders mainly in the aging population. FacetMed started its product development in 2004. In 2008 FacetMed joined ATI Technologies, a professional technology incubator, baked by Biomedix, one of the largest life-science groups in Israel. The initial prototype received a patent in 2009 (EP 1635721) and in 2010 (US 10/560901). What evolved is a unique Dual-axis system™ that has significant advantages over existing solutions. In addition, we identified several methods that could be the basis of our future products. Preliminary FEA results of the FacetMed, PediWing™ product show distinct superiority over the traditional pedicle screws offered by our Competitors. The company is in process of obtaining the 510(k) from the FDA.
