FASTinov SA is an in vitro diagnostic company in the field of ID/AST developing diagnostic tools to combat infectious disease in global healthcare settings. The focus of the FAST line of products is to provide clinicians with information on how to treat life-threatening infections and solutions for the global challenge of antibiotic resistance and hospital acquired infections. The company products are designed to enable the RAPID identification of ICU/acute care patients who are colonized or infected with life-threatening bacteria including multi-drug resistant organisms, MDROs. The company ULTRA-RAPID AST works directly from Positive Blood Cultures and the technology allows the elimination of the lengthy culture and sample preparation steps required prior to testing for antimicrobial susceptibility, with a reduction of time to results from 36-48h to same day results in LESS THAN 2h.
