Fogazzi

Founded in 1978 by Luigi Venturelli, at that time, Fogazzi was a small but ever active and growing family run research company. From the start, FOGAZZI's special know-how has been in plastic processing, extrusion and thermo forming for the industrial field. Located in the high tech industrial area close to Brescia, in northern Italy, it was in 1981 that FOGAZZI started moving towards the medical area by prototyping and producing small series of catheters dedicated to specific research projects in cooperation with Italian Universities and Public Research Foundation. In 1989, with the development of PTLA laser plaque debulking catheters, FOGAZZI initiated the production activity of medical devices.
