GDS offers design control capabilities using our proprietary ISO 13485 design control quality system. We have brought several medical device products from concept to FDA approval and transfer to manufacturing. Our company philosophy is to fail foward fast. We iterate design solutions rapidly; testing concepts in the lab or with clients and end customers. We know that R&D requires failure since many ideas are not practical or not the best solution. Therefore we generate multiple solutions for our clients and then prototype those deemed most promising for our clients. We want to fail forward; we want to be using our iterative process to move the concept forward. Finally we try to iterate fast. Our Junk Yard Wars events have successfully taken concepts from brainstorming on Monday morning to fully functional prototypes by Friday afternoon.
