Our Company has been at the heart of the Medical Devices industry for many generations. Based in Sheffield - the hub of medical and healthcare technologies in the UK - our business provides an end to end medical device packaging service, from the manufacture and sale of Sterilisation Pouches to the provision of Cleanline sub-contract packing and sterilisation services, we offer an almost infinite range of customised medical device packaging solutions. In 2016, we expanded our services to include the flexographic printing of sterilisable medical packaging substrates. The Sterimed Group acquired Granton Medical in January 2022 and now forms part of their global offering. We are the sole UK volume manufacturer of Self Seal Sterilisation Pouches, currently making around 100 million pouches per year in our ISO Class 7 Clean Room facility. Alongside our market leading Self Seal Pouches, we also provide Tyvek® pouches in a range of standard and custom sizes, as well as Flat (Heat Seal) sterilisation pouches and reels, and associated heat sealing machines. Cleanline is the name of our highly customisable medical device packing solution. It presents our entire range of packing and sterilisation services, then gives our customers the opportunity to pick and choose or mix and match whichever services they need for any given product! We can offer packing services varying from peel pouch/hand packing, to four-side-seal and FFS/thermoforming machine packing options. We also offer a medical device washing and thermal disinfection service to current HTM best practice requirements, as well as the passivation of metal items.
