Hand in Hand

Hand-in-Hand is a nonprofit organisation, which aims to help improve the overall quality of life of the amputee population in Egypt. The organisation designs and manufacturers prosthetic devices for amputees using 3D printing technology, which offers a customisable, efficient, and reliable alternative for traditional prosthetic limbs at no cost. Unlike fixed aesthetic prosthetic limbs, Hand-in-Hand's mechanically-controlled products enable the user to perform day-to-day tasks. The use of 3D printing in the process offers inexpensive, rapid and highly precise manufacturing, delivering thoroughly detailed products that fit comfortably and improve the overall functionality and practicality of the prosthetic limb.
