About
HeartKinetics is a digital health company founded in 2019, emerging from the Cardiology department of the Université Libre de Bruxelles. The company focuses on improving cardiac disease management, particularly for heart failure patients, by providing fast and actionable cardiac data. This approach aims to enhance patient quality of life and reduce healthcare costs. The flagship product, the Kino-cardiograph (Kino), is a non-invasive cardiac monitoring device that allows patients to conduct tests at home in under 45 seconds. It combines rhythm, cardiac strength, and hemodynamic assessment into a single device connected to a secure cloud platform, enhanced by artificial intelligence. Additionally, HeartKinetics is developing a smartphone app that will measure myocardial activity using motion sensors. This innovative technology enables remote screening and monitoring, addressing the needs of heart failure patients who typically receive limited hospital monitoring. HeartKinetics has been recognized for its contributions to cardiac care, winning the 1st Prize of Innovation at the European Society of Cardiology.
