Hy2Care® BV is a Dutch medical technology company established in 2014 as a spin-off from the Tech Med Centre of the University of Twente. Co-founded by Dr. Sanne Both and Prof. Marcel Karperien, the company focuses on developing innovative solutions for cartilage repair to enable natural healing and restore painless mobility. The flagship product, CartRevive®, is a hydrogel implant designed for the functional recovery of cartilage defects, particularly in the knee. This hydrogel mimics joint tissue and forms a bio-adhesive, resorbable scaffold when injected into cartilage defects.
