iBrux has developed wireless sensors to understand a person’s health and well being at night. Our product has the ability to be easily integrated into any customized night guard and initially focusing on bruxism (teeth grinding and clenching) with a patent pending solution. We bring knowledge to ambiguity, aiding the consumer to better understand their condition and the dental practitioner to remotely diagnose bruxism enabling more effective treatment.
With innovation led through University College Dublin by Professor Eoin O’Cearbhaill PhD, (ex Creganna-Tactx) and one of Ireland’s leading dentists Frank Dillon.
The relative intensity which a person, when asleep, can exert on their teeth through bruxing can be considerable. Often there is no knowledge of the scale of the problem, with the effect only seen by dentists, after the fact, through damaged or broken teeth. The recommended solution is a simple night guard.
Dental laboratories have no way to quantify the effectiveness of their customized night guard and dentists cannot manage what they cannot measure.
iBrux is a solution, which provides data on the scale of the bruxing and the compliance of use of the night guard. This gives consumers and dentists live information of the frequency, duration, relative intensity and type (grinding or biting) of the bruxism event all of which can aid in treatment.
