iDropr is building technology-enabled products to solve a large, and global problem in ophthalmology. Ophthalmic therapeutics is projected to grow to a $35.7 billion market by 2025. However, the most common form of ophthalmic drug delivery, eye drops, are designed to be wasteful by delivering more volume per drop discharge than what the human-eye can physically hold. This leads to increased drug waste, and a significant decrease in a bottle's utility, which eventually has a major cost burden on patients. With iDropr, we wish to empower patients by reducing healthcare costs, optimize efficacy and drug delivery, and overall increase access to healthcare across the globe for patients who suffer from conditions such as glaucoma, allergic conjunctivitis, dry eye, and more.
