InnoVie Health

InnoVie Health Inc. is a healthcare IT start-up providing an artificial intelligence (AI) powered solution driving the most accurate and efficient risk-stratified care management strategy for our healthcare system leading to higher value and quality of patient care. Population Health Management (PHM) is the core challenge facing modern healthcare systems and payers. These challenges include 1) Patient Data Aggregation, 2) Risk Stratification of Health, 3) Care Coordination and 4) Patient Engagement. In the US, the highest risk patients (top 5%) account for 50% of healthcare spending. Current risk predicting models such as the LACE index and HOSPITAL score are suboptimal to address these challenges. As a result, InnoVie Health aims to tackle this problem using AI with the goal of identifying high-risk patients and preventing the progression of chronic diseases through the awareness of disease risk. Currently, our start-up is in product development and includes individuals with backgrounds in medicine, software engineering, machine learning, data analysis and pharmacology. In addition, we are affiliated with McGill University, Universite de Montreal and District 3 (start-up accelerator) and are competing in the IBM XPrize competition this year.
