Itus Healthcare is a New Jersey Medical Device company, led by a team of experts in medicine, medical device engineering and development, and medical marketing and sales that has focused on different technologies and approaches in reducing the spread of harmful bacteria on medical instruments such as the stethoscope. Our StethGuard™ product was developed by practicing physicians. Their real life medical experiences in treating victims of hospital acquired infections and witnessing first hand the failed policy of poor stethoscope hygiene, led to the development of this easy to use and cost effective cover. StethGuard™ is a patented, disposable stethoscope cover that provides an effective and cost efficient solution to the problem of cross-transference of harmful micro-organisms (bacteria, virus, fungi, spores) from patient to patient via contaminated stethoscopes.
