Kobara Medical is pioneering new cardiac rhythm management and neuromodulation therapies to address heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias by making novel use of the hearts transverse pericardial sinus (TPS). There are over 1M people with pacemakers. Complications are prevalent and outcomes limited because of constraints on endovascular placement locations. We are developing a new type of cardiac lead platform for this $1+B market that does not require going inside the heart - it's epicardial – it's truly minimally invasive! Our patent pending solution addresses these issues by making novel use of the heart's transverse pericardial sinus, which is a unique passage way across the outside of the heart giving full access to all heart chambers.
