Cardiac conditions are one the most causes of deaths and around 40% of the 30 million people in India alone needs re-hospitalisation within 6 months after treatment. The major causes are Irregular monitoring/keeping a tab on the vital metrics and Lack of Pre-diagnostics/Poor management of health records. LACIDEM aims at developing a peel & stick wearable with biosensors which will reduce the hospital visits for patients yet help monitor them remotely. The wearable monitors the vitals, stress, and activity of the patient on regular intervals and provides a detailed/informative result of the user's health status and help craft a better care plan. Also, the algorithm will be able to predict the odds of a stroke/ seizure depending on the vitals pattern.
