Light Line Medical, Inc. is a medical device company developing novel light-based therapeutic technologies to reduce device-associated infections. Founded in 2011, it is based out of Salt Lake City, Utah. The Light Line™ visible light phototherapy (VLP) system uses a non-UV light to disinfect catheters and reduce bacteria, which cause urinary tract infections (CAUTI), bloodstream infections, ventilator associated pneumonia, and wound and hemodialysis/peritoneal dialysis infections. This technology is translatable to several markets. These products are pre-FDA approval, and are currently undergoing testing.
