LinCor Biosciences is preparing to introduce a bioengineered cornea which will reduce world blindness. It is estimated that over 10 million people are blind ion one or both eyes due to corneal disease or injury. Yet, only 150,000 corneal transplants are done worldwide annually. The LinCor Biosciences cornea has shown excellent biocompatibility. It has undergone extensive testing and will soon be ready to reduce world corneal blindness for those patients unable to obtain a human cornea for corneal transplantation.
