About
The Scientific and Production Organization KAMMED was founded in 1991 in the historic city of Kamianets-Podilskiy, Ukraine, shortly after the country gained independence. Established by Valeriy Slabinskyi, MD, a famous Ukrainian surgeon, and in collaboration with distinguished Ukrainian and international healthcare experts, the factory set out with a bold vision: to lead in the design and manufacturing of high-quality, disposable medical devices in Ukraine. A pivotal figure in KAMMED creation was Professor Alexander Shalimov, a globally recognized academician and the namesake of the National Institute of Surgery and Transplantology of Ukraine in Kyiv. With over three decades of experience, KAMMED continues to pioneer medical solutions and manufactures unique, patented disposable medical instruments that address the needs of modern healthcare. Today, KAMMED operates in over 30 countries (covering markets in Europe, Asia, Africa and the United States) offering a product range of more than 200 items and over 2,000 modifications tailored to specific medical needs worldwide.
