ManiKHeir is a French manufacturing company that specializes in producing single-use nitrile gloves. As a subsidiary of Medicom Group Inc., it marks the revival of nitrile glove production in France after a 30-year gap. The company operates a modern factory in Bessé-sur-Braye, Sarthe, featuring four production lines and an annual capacity of approximately 900 million gloves. ManiKHeir employs over 150 people and has invested more than €88 million in advanced manufacturing technology. The gloves are made from recyclable nitrile rubber (NBR), offering a less allergenic alternative to latex. ManiKHeir emphasizes sustainability by recycling industrial waste and developing processes to recover used gloves. The company also has a Canadian subsidiary, Manikheir Canada Inc., which is set to produce up to one billion medical-grade nitrile gloves annually, supported by a $42 million investment from the Canadian government. This expansion aims to bolster domestic PPE manufacturing and create approximately 135 jobs in Canada.
