Mara Nanotech, inc. is a R&D stage nanobiomedical company that is focused on utilizing nanobiotechnology, chemistry, material sciences, and molecular engineering to develop a nanowell arrays (NWA) based digital in-vitro diagnostics and molecular diagnostics platform. Our mission is to build and commercialize nanobiomedical sensor that will provide the healthcare community (at-Home Patients, Physicians, Stand alone Laboratory, Academic and Medical Schools, Hospitals, Point of Care Testing, Environmental Industry, and Others) with cost-effective tools to optimize their health-related decisions. In addition, Mara Nanotech provides R&D services and Consulting for various nanotechnology applications and new products development from excellent scientists.
More than two decades of research lead us to believe that our electrochemical NWA system has applications in the early detection and prevention of Alzheimer’s disease and other problems associated with aging. Early detection and effective management of risk factors are critical to containing healthcare costs that are getting out of control both in the United States and many other parts of the world, which reflect, in part, aging populations.
Over the past 17 years, we successfully fabricated a NWA structure using various nanolithography techniques and demonstrated that it can be utilized to fabricate a new nanomedical device that is ultra-sensitive and has good reproducibility. Moreover, we recently succeeded in fabricating a scalable NWA using advanced nanomanufacturing that substantially lowers costs. Our technology, to which we own the patent(“Nanomedical Sensor using Nanowell Array Technology”, US 2017/0219554, “Protein chip and Biosensor using Nanowell Array Electrode”, Japanese Patent: #4497903), will act as bridge between the large gap between research and medical devices that are fast, easy-to-use, accurate, and relatively inexpensive.
