Maryland Orthotics & Prosthetics (MDOP) is an independent, full-service patient care facility and fabricator of custom-designed and fit Prosthetic and Orthotic devices. Founded in 1981, we have restored the lives of thousands, forming friendships with patients and creating customized devices with superior fit and comfort. Working with patients, doctors, and therapists, we strive to rebuild our patient's lives through compassionate listening and fostering an open discussion. We provide the ultimate level of comfort, durability, function, and fit in a prosthesis and orthosis based upon the goals of our patients. MDOP is American Board for Certification Orthotics, Prosthetics, & Pedorthics (ABC) Comprehensive Orthotics & Prosthetics Accredited, an NCOPE approved residency education site for orthotists and prosthetists, a residency site for the Johns Hopkins and Sinai Hospitals Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physicians, and all of our practitioners are ABC Certified. MDOP accepts nearly all Maryland insurances, along with many national companies. We are in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Equal Employment Opportunities Act (EEOC), and Occupational Safety and Health Standards (OSHA).
